Montessori at home!

I am a HUGE fan of the Montessori Method. My 2 school aged children have been in Montessori preschool as well as Montessori Kindergarden. My youngest is not quite ready to go to pre-school so I thought I would bring it to her. I have set up the spare bedroom in our house with Montessori style learning materials. The children love having this special room for the learning activities. The best part is they don't know they are learning and it's fun!
Here you can see my youngest carefully putting her beads on her pipe cleaners to make a beautiful flower. I purchased the cheese shaker at the dollar store and had pony beads at home. I cut the flowers using my Cricut machine and laminated them for durability. This is my variation of the flower beading activity I found on one of my favourite blogs! This is the first activity my girls choose every time we go into the room.
